The 6th Congress of the Pegasus Network in Seville brings together aeronautical engineers from European universities
The Higher School of Engineering (ETSI) of the University of Seville, in its capacity as a member of the Pegasus network, organised the 6th Pegasus-AIAA Student Conference from 28 to 30 April. This event brought together aeronautical engineers from the European universities belonging to this network, which includes the leading European schools offering Aerospace Engineering courses.
On 29 April the best projects were presented by Aerospace Engineering students selected by each university in the network, among the ones the three best projects were selected, awarded cash prizes and study trips granted by Airbus and the AIAA.
The prize-giving ceremony took place on 30 April at the Reales Alcazares in Seville and was presented by the Deputy Mayor and Representative of the Treasury of the Seville City Council, nieves Hernández, and the Chairman of the Pegasus network, Pascal Bauer.
The VI Congress was sponsored by the ETSI, the Andalusian Association of Research and Industrial Cooperation (AICIA), Airbus, the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) and the Hélice Foundation. During the meeting, the management and the members of the Pegasus network held their general meetings, as well as making a visit to the FAL of the A400M in the Airbus Military Factory at San Pablo.
