This morning started in Aerópolis a reverse mission that will bring together US aerospace companies with Andalusian companies until next April 17 in the provinces of Seville and Cadiz.until next April 17 in the provinces of Seville and Cadiz. This initiative continues the action taken in late 2014 in which several Andalusian firms met the aerospace industry in the states of Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas and visited some companies and facilities.
The mission is organized by Extenda, the Trade Promotion Agency of Andalusia, with the support of HELICE Cluster and the Office of Extenda in Miami. This trade action includes a visit from managers and directors of the companies Trexton Group, Bell Helicopter, UTC Aerospace Systems and TECT Aerospace.
The aim of this activity is to continue promoting the internationalization of Andalusian companies and increasing their presence in foreign markets, and in this case, to show the productive and technological capabilities of the industry in Andalusia in order to generate business opportunities with aerospace industry in the USA.
The mission began with an initial presentation of the sector and the capabilities of the Andalusian companies, by the HELICE director, Arturo de Vicente, followed by a presentation of each of US companies The activity included in first day a program of B2B meetings which involved companies Aciturri, Alter, Ayesa Air Control, CESA, Computadores Modulares, CT Ingenieros, Elimco, FAASA, GAZC, Ghenova, Grabysur, MDU (Carbures) and Raytheon. Then, there have been a visit to the FAL A400M and Airbus Defence & Space facilities and meetings with the companies Luce and Sofitec.
The activity will continue tomorrow with visits to factories Alestis and Aernnova in Cadiz, and the facilities of Airgrup, Inespasa and the Center for Advanced Aerospace Technologies (CATEC), in Seville.
