Carbures, a firm from Cádiz specializing in manufacture of aeronautical carbon fiber structures, is ready to face the expected increase by aerospace OEMs in orders for aircraft and industrial chain on composite materials, for which it has acquired a new technology tenfold cutting speed and edging of its pieces in the final stage of the manufacturing process.

The new technology, installed at the plant in Jerez de la Frontera, the group´s largest plant in aerospace, is called BR25 and has been designed by the company EPMM, especially for the machining of carbon fiber.

Carbures noted that the aerospace industry this year will bring the firm revenues of 35.5 million euros, representing 30% of total revenues planned for 2015 (118.5 million €).

The company, which participates in the A320, A380 and A330MRTT Airbus programmes, estimates that aerospace sector will provide 57 million in 2017, a 35.4% of the 161 million expected.
