The aeronautical consultancy firm Aertec has won the second edition of the Prize for Most Socially Responsible Company, an award granted by the Malaga Provincial Council with the collaboration of the Malaga Business Confederation (CEM).

This award recognises firms in the province of Malaga which implement ethical codes of conduct, general plans for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and specific programmes of a social, economic and environmental nature. AERTEC is a Malaga-based company consisting of engineering consultants and architects specialising in airport processes, infrastructures and systems, aeronautical industries and construction. It was founded 13 years ago and has offices in Madrid, Barcelona, Seville and Amman, and currently has a staff of nearly 200 of which more than 85% have university degrees and more than 40% are women.

The jury of the competition highlighted the company’s efforts with Andalusian educational centres and in projects for cooperation with developing countries, along with its excellent human resources management, "which is reflected in the high morale of its employees and the development of talent".
