The Foundation of Training for Employment (Forpe) has
inaugurated its new telepresence training system using
a virtual campus. This training system with national coverage
and more than 30 offices distributed throughout
Spain offers the vocational training courses which are in
the greatest demand in the sector, facilitating integration
into the job market. In fact, more than 60% of the students
who have received training in the centres run by
Forpe have found employment in less than a year. On the
other hand, the Association of Aeronautical Companies
is preparing to start the works for the Aeronautical Subsystems
Integration Centre, a project under the Subprogramme
of Scientific and Technological Activities in Science
and Technology Parks for 2010 (Innplanta) by the
Ministry of Science and Innovation. The works will have
a duration of 12 to 18 months. The main objective of the
Centre is the integration, development and maintenance
of avionics equipment and the provision of support for
the FAL of the A400M. It is also set to become a centre
of excellence for the aeronautical sector which will boost
Seville's economy and create jobs.
